Originally a modest semi-detached home in Enfield, the existing property had great potential but felt constrained by small, disconnected spaces. At Elci Design, we saw an opportunity to enhance both its functionality and value through a thoughtful transformation.

Our client envisioned a bright, open-plan living space with a minimalist aesthetic. By introducing a contemporary rear extension, a loft conversion, and a stylish summer house, we created a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor living. The single-storey extension at the rear now house a spacious kitchen and living area, flooded with natural light and designed for modern family life. This transformation not only maximizes space but also brings a greater connection to the outdoors, making the home feel more open, inviting, and perfectly suited for today’s way of living.

Loft extensions are an extremely efficient way of adding space and can be applied for under Permitted Development.
